Adithya L1 - A Leap Towards the Sun

An Indian by heart with a metallic exoskeleton took a ambitious leap on September 2 at 11:50 from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh with a vision of exploring the Sun and its flaky skin.             Aditya L1 , India's first space - based solar observatory housed with seven payloads ( instruments ) successfully embarked on its journey towards the void from second launch pad of Satish Dhawan Space Centre in AP.              Aditya L1 is aiming to reach at the L1 ( Langrage 1 ) , where it is going to observe the dynamics of Sun's Chromosphere and Corona , study the physics behind partially ionized plasma and Coronal Mass Ejections    ( CMEs ) and comprehend on space weather and origin , composition and dynamics of solar wind. $ Langrage.....These are positions in space where gravitational forces of a two body systems like the Sun and Earth produce a kind of cushion region which significantly reduce the Spacecraft Fuel consumption.             A micro-idea with a

Why Spend So Much on Space ?

" We have poverty, overpopulation, unemployment , climate change , discrimination and many more, but this Government is spending money on space toys " - A common critic from space atheists after Chandrayaan 3 Launch on July 14.  Come Lets Discover whether Space research is really worth it !! ISRO doesn't eat a lot of Money                            India's 2023 Space Budget is 12500 Cr , which on a raw scale might look mammoth but its only 0.8 % of the total budget ! Our Postal services consume 36000 Cr to make their obsolete machinery run.... Spinoff Technologies       ISRO invests on cutting edge technologies for the Space Exploration , which would spark off accidental inventions solving a real life problem pestering the society. It would also give a competitive edge in the Innovation front on a global stage.        Solar cells , Structural analysis software and Barcodes were initially developed with technical assistance and data from NASA.           So investing o
