KTM , YAMAHA , PULSAR have big names but Royal Enfield is the King π and everyone's dream like an Apple π product.
Come Lets Unveil the Fantastic Acoustic Phenomenon....
Royal Enfield bikes have "Long Stroke Engines" which are the major reason for the characteristic vintage appeal.
Lets Understand Engine before diving deep.... Recent Engines are mostly 4 stroke Engine or have 4 steps in the process of combustion.
1) The Piston move downwards πand the fuel + air mixture in ejected into the combustion chamber.
2) Piston moves upwards π and squeezes the fuel ⛽ to create a high pressure.
3) The Spark plug gives a spark ✨ .
4) The Fuel mixture turns into fireπ₯ thereby empowering the Bike. This gas escapes through the exhaust or the silencer.
In most of the bikes like Pulsar = the height of the stroke is less than the diameter of the bore.
But Royal Enfield has a Larger Stroke in comparison with bore, which allows a slow but distinctive classic DUBU DUBU sound π.
The Exhaust design also acts as a megaphone π’ amplifying the iconic sonic boom..
So whether it is a Classic or a Thunderbird only the SOUND Makes Royal Enfield Special.
